City of Palouse with the

Outdoor
burning is allowed within Rural Fire District #4 in accordance with
Washington State Department of Ecology guidelines. Click

The Fire
Chief may, at his discretion, ban all burning within the City and RFD
#4 if extreme fire hazard conditions are present.
Notification of
such a ban will be posted online at this site and www.visitpalouse.com.
Flyers will be posted at City Hall and the Post Office and a
sign
will be posted at the fire station. A message will be posted
on
the community reader board as well.
